Camden County Call to Service Summit Sept 14
The Citizens’ Campaign and Community Foundation of South Jersey invite you to the Camden County Call to Service Summit on Tuesday, September 14th at 7 pm at Camden County College Blackwood Campus. Admission to the Summit is free and open to everyone, but seating is limited so pre-registration is recommended (click here to register now). The Camden County Call to Service Summit will offer an insider’s perspective about leadership opportunities in Camden County, including ways citizens can participate in the adoption of government cost-cutting proposals, serve on government boards and commissions, participate in local political parties and report important local government news.
Vineland City Council adopts Citizens’ Campaign Waste-Cutting Measure

This past July the Vineland City Council adopted a resolution to take away health benefits from part-time elected and appointed municipal officials starting September 1, resulting in $90,000 in savings per year for the city. The Vineland resolution comes in the wake of a presentation by Citizens’ Campaign Cumberland County Chairman and Vineland resident Lee Burke to the city Administration who embraced the measure.

Jersey Call to Service
The Citizens' Campaigns "Jersey Call to Service" is a new public service initiative to inspire 5,000 citizens to participate in the leadership of their communities and reverse the tide of government waste.
